The new Rizta S variant is equipped with the 3.7 kWh battery pack with fast-charging compatibility while it loses out on multiple premium features.
Ather Energy has launched the Rizta S electric scooter with a 3.7 kWh battery at a sticker price of Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. It can be booked online as well as through the brand’s authorized dealerships across the country while the first deliveries will start later this month. Ather Rizta S 3.7 gets the bigger battery from the range-topping Z grade but misses out on all the premium features. The new variant is slotted between the Rizta Z 2.9 kWh and Rizta Z 3.7 kWh in the domestic market.
Ather Rizta S 3.7 kWh comes with an underseat storage area of 34 litres. In addition, it has a frunk (front storage space) of 22 litres to keep the small belongings. The company claims that the Rizta 3.7 has one of the biggest seats in the electric scooter segment. The Rizta S 3.7 will be available in seven colour options namely Siachen White, Deccan Grey, Pangong Blue, Pangong Blue Duo, Alphonso Yellow Duo, Cardamom Green Duo and Deccan Grey Duo.

In terms of features, Ather Rizta S 3.7 is packed with 7-inch DeepView Display with Turn-by-Turn Navigation, AutoHold, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, Tow & Theft Alerts, Find my scooter, OTA updates and Alexa Skills. It is also compatible with the company’s fast-charging Ather Grid network which has 3900+ charging points across the country.
The 3.7 kWh battery pack on the Rizta S returns a range of 159 km on a single charge. The e-scooter can be charged overnight at home to achieve full charge. The battery pack is covered under Ather’s comprehensive warranty programme, ‘Ather Eight70’ which ensures a comprehensive 8-year or 80,000 km (whichever comes first) protection while also guaranteeing a minimum 70 percent battery health during the ownership.
Ather Rizta originally went on sale in 2024 as the brand’s first family electric scooter. According to the company, it accounts for more than 60 percent of the overall sales. It recently achieved the sales milestone of 1 lakh units within a year of debut. Now, with the launch of the new Rizta S 3.7 variant, it has a total of four variants.
