Ather Energy showcased an one-of-its-type Redux moto-scooter concept along with Atherstack 7.0 at the Annual Community Day 2025
Ather Energy has unveiled the all-new Redux concept at the third edition of its Annual Community Day in Bengaluru. The moto-scooter concept previews a high-performance electric scooter which is likely to be a part of the brand’s future model line-up. Ather Redux represents the amalgamation of a scooter’s agility with the dynamics of a motorcycle. Besides this futuristic concept, the Bengaluru-based EV brand also released the latest version of the software used on its scooters namely Atherstack 7.0 at the event.
Built on a lightweight aluminium frame, the moto-scooter concept comes with 3D-printed lattice mesh seat while the body panels have been crafted from AmplyTex. The company stated that the Redux electric scooter uses Morph-UI which is a next-gen HMI for quicker adaptation to the intent of the rider. It has been designed with an ‘inside out’ approach.

Some of the notable features in the Redux moto-scooter concept include adaptive ride dynamics, posture-based transformation from scooter to sport bike and “Take off” mode for ultra-fast acceleration among others. Ather Energy officials refrained from commenting on the launch timeline of the Redux and hence it remains strictly a concept model at least for the time being.
Talking about the Atherstack 7.0, it introduces voice commands for the first time on an Ather e-scooter using natural language capabilities. It has been designed in an intuitive manner to alert riders for live location sharing, tyre pressure analysis, and other important information. The Atherstack 7.0 takes rider safety to the next level by announcing Pothole Alerts and Crash Alerts.

Swapnil Jain, Co-founder & CTO at Ather Energy, said, “At Ather, we have always focused on simplifying technology and making it mainstream for riders. With AtherStack 7.0, we’re bringing AI into everyday riding through an LLM (Large Language Model) trained for our use cases and tuned to Indian dialects. Voice is the first step in that journey, an interface beyond buttons that makes rides smarter, safer, and more intuitive. It also makes our existing suite of AtherStackTM 7.0 features more accessible and mainstream for everyday use.”
The latest software update will be rolled out an over-the-air (OTA) update in the coming months while it will be backward compatible with Gen 3 Rizta Z and the Ather 450X. The Atherstack 7.0 also enhances the security of the scooters with advanced features like ParkSafe and LockSafe. Furthermore, the owners can now start or stop charging or even shut down their scooters from anywhere.
