The SR 175 Tribute Edition pays homage to the Indian armed forces and hence it has been rolled out in an army-inspired colour scheme
Aprilia India has launched the SR 175 Tribute Edition at a sticker price of Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. Paying homage to the Indian Army, it comes in a distinct paint shade with camouflage-inspired graphics of the armed forces. Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition bookings have commenced across the country while the deliveries are likely to start soon. Apart from the unique colour scheme, the Tribute Edition retains the overall design, features and engine specs of the regular version of the scooter.
Aprilia SR 175 Tribute Edition is presented with a LED headlamp and tail-lamp setup as standard. It also boasts of a 5-inch coloured instrument console with TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity. The riders have access to navigation, calls, music, and ride information through the TFT screen. As for the safety of the occupants, a single-channel ABS is offered as standard fitment.
Riding on 14-inch wheels with bold orange rims and tubeless tyres, the SR 175 Tribute Edition is powered by the same 174.4cc, single-cylinder petrol engine which is capable of developing top power of 13 bhp at 7,200 rpm and peak torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine is coupled with a CVT unit for superior performance as it clocks a top speed of 95 kmph. Sitting on a steel frame, the Tribute Edition gets telescopic front forks and rear monoshock absorber.
