Ampere Reo VYB has been launched in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 69,499/- (ex-showroom). Presented as the brand’s entry-level family electric scooter, it comes with a 3 years/30,000 kms warranty as standard. The Reo VYB buyers will have access to after-sales service at 400+ touchpoints across India along with 12×7 customer care support. Ampere Reo VYB will be up against the likes of Hero Vida VX2 and TVS Orbiter V1 in the domestic market in India.
The Reo VYB is available in four colour schemes namely Warm White, Pastel Purple, Dark Grey, and Aqua Metallic. Some of the notable features onboard the electric scooter are 24L under-seat storage area, color LCD digital cluster, premium key fob with keyless start, front disc brake, and LED headlights and tail lamps.
Ampere Reo VYB is powered by a Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery pack which is claimed to return a true riding range of 80 km on a single charge. Offered with a hub-mounted electric motor, it has a top speed of 25 kmph. Ampere has claimed that the LFP battery will have a life of up to 1 lakh kms.
The Reo VYB also boasts of compact dimensions, stable ride setup, telescopic front suspension, and rear damper to ensure comfortable handling across narrow city streets. In addition, a rider footrest comes as an essential accessory. The electric scooter has been designed and developed for small daily commutes by the people living in major urban cities.

Nearly a couple of months back, Ampere Magnus Neo e-scooter was launched at a sticker price of Rs 86,999/- (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. It was powered by a 2.3 kWh LFP battery pack which returns an IDC range of 118 km on a full charge. The electric scooter has a top speed of 65 kmph while it takes around 5 hours for a 0-80 percent charge.
