Ampere Reo 80 Launch Price Rs 59,900 – 80 Km Range

The Reo 80 is positioned in the sub-25 kmph speed segment while aimed specifically at first-time EV users, students, elderly riders, and families.

Greaves Electric Mobility Limited has launched the Ampere Reo 80 electric scooter at an introductory price of Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Being the upgraded version of Ampere Reo, the brand’s flagship e-scooter, the Reo 80 is a low speed electric two-wheeler presented in the sub-25 kmph speed segment. Ampere Reo 80 is developed for first-time EV users, students, elderly riders, and families. The deliveries of the Reo 80 are slated to commence from April 2025 across the country.

No driving license or registration is required for riding the Reo 80 as the scooter’s top speed is less than 25 kmph. It gets a colored LCD instrument console for ride-related info and insights. Equipped with a front disc brake, Ampere Reo 80 is powered by a LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack which returns a range of 80 km on a full charge.

The Reo 80 will be available in four dual-tone colour options namely Black, Red, Blue, and White. It rides on stylish alloy wheels and comes with keyless start alongside a premium keyfob.

As per the data available on Vahan portal, Greaves Electric Mobility registered a MoM growth of 52 percent in March 2025 by retailing over 6000 e-scooters in the domestic market. The EV brand sells multiple electric scooters in the country in the form of Nexus, Magnus, Primus and Zeal.

Ampere Reo 80 will face stiff competition from the low-speed e-scooters of Hero Electric and Okinawa in the Indian market.
