Ampere Magnus Neo is powered by a swappable 2.3 kWh LFP battery pack which returns a range of 100+ km on a single charge
Greaves Electric has launched the Ampere Magnus Neo at a sticker price of Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. Replacing the Magnus EX in the EV brand’s product line-up, it will be showcased to potential buyers at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on Jan 17. The Magnus Neo can be availed at Ampere dealerships nationwide starting January 2025. Ampere Magnus Neo will rival Ola S1 X, Hero Vida V2 and TVS iQube in the domestic market. The bookings for the e-scooter start today across the country.
Ampere Magnus Neo will be offered dual-tone finish in five colourways namely Metallic Red, Glacial White, Ocean Blue, Galactic Grey, and Glossy Black. Riding on 12-inch alloy wheels, it gets multiple advanced features in the form of a digital instrument console, USB charging port, Optional smart connectivity and Multi riding modes including the reverse mode. Just so you know, it is the first Magnus electric scooter to ride on 12-inch wheels as other variants come with 10-inch wheels.

During its endurance testing, Ampere Magnus Neo covered a distance over 2,000 km from Bengaluru to Delhi. It is equipped with a 2.3 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery pack which returns a range of 100+ km on a single charge. The battery is detachable and can be charged anywhere, anytime. The electric scooter has a top speed of 65 kmph, which is the highest for any Magnus scooter till date. The battery can be fully charged in 5-6 hours.
The Bengaluru-based EV brand is offering a standard battery warranty of 5 years or 75,000 kms whichever is earlier. Furthermore, as part of the special introductory offer, customers can avail financing options starting at just 5.75 percent interest p.a for hassle-free ownership.
Ampere Magnus Neo is one of the most budget-friendly electric scooters on sale in India. We expect Greaves Electric to make some major announcements at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
