
Honda CB125 Hornet is introduced with segment-leading features as it competes with TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R in the Indian market.
Honda 2-Wheelers India has unveiled the all-new CB125 Hornet in the domestic market. It coincides with the 25th anniversary of the brand in the Indian market. Honda CB125 Hornet bookings will start from Aug 1, 2025. The price announcement is expected to take place at a later stage while first deliveries could start by mid-August. The CB125 Hornet will directly rival TVS Raider 125 and Hero Xtreme 125R in India. The Japanese brand also unveiled the all-new Shine 100 DX at the event held today in New Delhi.
Adorning an aggressive street-style design, Honda CB125 Hornet flaunts an all-LED lighting which includes the signature dual-LED headlamp with LED DRLs and LED turn indicators. The side profile boasts of a sturdy fuel tank with sharper shrouds and modern muffler. The ignition key is positioned on the fuel tank which appears quite peculiar. Sitting on a diamond type frame, Honda CB125 Hornet tips the weighing scale at 124 kg.

It can be availed in three dual-tone colour options namely Pearl Siren Blue with Lemon Ice Yellow, Pearl Siren Blue with Athletic Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue with Sports Red while a single-tone Pearl Igneous Black colour is also on offer. The CB125 Hornet rides on 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels with wide tubeless tyres while a split-seat setup is offered as standard.
The motorcycle is packed with first-in-segment golden-coloured USD front forks while the rear suspension duties are helmed by a 5-step adjustable mono-shock absorber. The CB125 Hornet comes equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app which provides several features to the rider in the form of navigation, calls & SMS alerts, and music playback with a headset. The TFT display can be operated through the switches on the left handlebar.

Some of the other notable features present in the motorcycle are Universal USB Type-C charging port, Engine stop switch and Side-stand indicator with engine inhibitor. The stopping power comes from a 240mm petal disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The braking system works in sync with a single-channel ABS.
Mechanically, the CB125 Hornet is powered by an OBD-2B compliant 123.94cc single-cylinder petrol engine which churns out top power of 11 bhp at 7500 rpm and highest torque of 11.2 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is linked to a 5-speed gearbox while it takes merely 5.4 secs to touch the 60 kmph mark from standstill, making it the fastest motorcycle in the segment.
