It will not be an understatement to term the Xpulse 200 as the most value-for-money adventure motorcycle in the domestic market in India. Needless to state, it was the highest-selling ADV bike in Oct 2025 with 4,161 units as compared to 1,964 units during the same month last year. Hero Xpulse 200 recorded a swashbuckling YoY growth of 112 percent.

2. Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is undoubtedly the most wholesome and capable middleweight adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. The company sold a total of 2,561 units of the ADV bike last month against the 2,199 units retailed in Oct 2024. Hence, it registered a YoY growth of 16 percent. However, the MoM sales fell by nearly 35 percent as RE had sold 3,939 units in Sep 2025.

Launched in Nov 2023, the Himalayan 450 is priced between Rs 3.06-3.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. One of the primary reasons for sales dropping in Oct 2025 could be the hike in price of the ADV motorcycle by up to Rs 22k due to the revised GST rates which increased the existing 28 percent tax to 40 percent on bikes with engine capacity above 350cc.

As far as MoM sales is concerned, the growth was even higher at 399 percent as in Sep 2025, only 181 units of the V-Strom SX were retailed in the domestic market. The adventure motorcycle is available in a single fully-loaded variant at a sticker price of Rs 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
