Deliveries have now commenced at a few BigWing dealerships, with more locations expected to follow
The complete India-specification details of the Honda Rebel 300 have finally been revealed, nearly three months after its prices were announced. The cruiser is now beginning to reach Honda BigWing dealerships, with some customers already receiving their motorcycles on the occasion of Dhanteras. However, the rollout is staggered, with delivery timelines varying across cities.
The Honda Rebel 300 is available in two versions. The standard model is priced at Rs 2.22 lakh, while the E-Clutch variant costs Rs 2.62 lakh (both ex-showroom). The latter commands a Rs 40,000 premium for Honda’s electronic clutch technology.
Power comes from a 286 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 27.6 PS at 8,000 rpm and 24.5 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The standard version gets an assist and slipper clutch, while the E-Clutch variant can automatically operate the clutch during starts, stops and gear changes. Riders can still use the clutch lever conventionally if they prefer.

The E-Clutch hardware adds 3kg to the motorcycle’s kerb weight. The standard version weighs 173kg, while the E-Clutch variant tips the scales at 176kg. Both versions get an 11.2-litre fuel tank. One of the Rebel 300’s biggest selling points is its accessible riding position.
The seat is just 690mm off the ground, while the motorcycle has a long 1,506 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance, however, is limited to 129 mm, which could call for some care over tall speed breakers. The cruiser rides on 16-inch wheels with a 130/90 front tyre and a wider 150/80 rear tyre. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, while dual-channel ABS is standard.

In terms of equipment, the Rebel 300 gets a TFT instrument display with Honda RoadSync connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a USB Type-C charging port. It also gets LED lighting and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
The first units have started arriving at Honda BigWing dealerships, with reports of motorcycles reaching outlets in Delhi. However, customer delivery schedules are not uniform as only a few have taken deliveries so far. Some dealerships expect deliveries to begin during November, while others are indicating early December. Pune could see a longer wait, with local dealer information pointing towards January 2027 dispatches. Honda has not announced a consolidated nationwide delivery schedule, so buyers will need to check with their respective BigWing dealerships.
