Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition at Rs 4.26 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The limited edition motorcycle had its world premiere at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. The pre-bookings will open at the brand’s website and mobile app from 2 PM IST on October 16, 2026 until the sale day – October 28, 2026. Royal Enfield Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition, being limited to just 125 units per key region globally, will be handed over to the buyers from November 2026 onwards.
The Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition pays homage to the brand’s 125 years of existence in the motorcycling world as Royal Enfield originally started selling bikes in 1901. Sitting on the proven 650 Twin platform, the limited edition model perfectly amalgamates shade-shifting alchemy of heritage and modernity with 125 years of pure motorcycling into one singular machine.
Some of the notable highlights of the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition are signature teardrop fuel tank, nacelle headlamp, special side-panel badging and hand-painted pinstripes. The brass base is a fitting tribute to the earliest Royal Enfield motorcycles of 1901, while deep tones and gleaming golds come together in a bespoke Hypershift finish that transforms between shades of red, green and gold.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition also flaunts a gilded 125-year crest. The features and cycle parts are similar to the stock bike in the form of Showa-sourced telescopic front forks, twin-shock rear suspension, USB Type-C charging slot, digital LCD screen with an odometer, gear position indicator, trip metre, clock, fuel level indicator, service reminder and dual-channel ABS.
The Classic 650 125th Anniversary Edition rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. It is equipped with the same 648cc parallel-twin engine which dishes out 46.4 bhp at 7250 rpm and 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox with wet multi plate clutch. The standard motorcycle is priced between Rs 3.37-3.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).
The standard Classic 650 is available in three variants namely Hotrod, Classic and Chrome. It is offered in Vallam Red and Bruntingthorpe Blue colourways with the entry-level Hotrod trim, while the mid-level Classic and top-end Chrome derivatives can be availed in Teal and Black Chrome colour schemes, respectively.
