BMW F 450 RR will be the third middleweight motorcycle to be unveiled by the company in less than a year’s time after the F 450 GS and F 450 R
BMW F 450 R, the naked street motorcycle had its world premiere on Oct 1, 2026. Now, the German brand has teased the third model in the F 450 line-up which happens to be a fully-faired supersports bike. Christened as BMW F 450 RR, it will make global debut on October 15, 2026. The F 450 GS was the first model to go on sale with the newly-developed 420cc engine platform. The production began last year in November at the Hosur manufacturing facility of TVS Motor Company in India while it was launched in Apr 2026 in our country at a starting price of Rs 4.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
The teaser image released by BMW Motorrad shows a fully-faired bike with massive windscreen, which could come adjustability function. We can also see the rear view mirrors on both sides of the front cowl. A few other notable elements visible in the teaser image are sculpted fuel tank, low positioned handlebar, split-seat setup and raised rear profile.
BMW Motorrad also released a caption with the teaser image which reads, “Something’s waiting in the fast lane,”. Hence, we can expect the upcoming F 450 RR to offer sportier performance with a forward-leaning riding posture. It could ride on alloy wheels while equipped with disc brakes at front and rear. The variant nomenclature could be similar to the F 450 R which is available in four trims namely Base, Exclusive, M Sport, and M Sport with Innovation Package.

Likely to sit on the same tubular steel space frame as the F 450 R and F 450 GS, it is expected to flaunt KYB-sourced 43 mm USD front forks and monoshock rear absorber with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. The stopping power could come from Brembo single-disc brake at front and ByBre single-disc brake at the rear. The F 450 RR could borrow the 17-inch cast aluminum wheels from its naked sibling.
BMW F 450 RR, in all likelihood, will come with identical features as the F 450 R, including Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) with Shift Assistant Pro, ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Ride modes (Rain, Road & Dynamic) and engine drag torque control (MSR). The same 6.5-inch TFT screen, seen on the F 450 GS and F 450 R, with ‘Pure Ride Screen’ and ‘Sport Screen’ displays will also make its way in the fully-faired sportsbike.

At the heart, BMW F 450 RR will have the same 420cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates max power of 47 bhp at 8,750 rpm and peak torque of 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm with the F 450 GS and F 450 R. The engine is likely to be specifically tuned for the sporty character of the F 450 RR while linked to a 6-speed transmission.
