Triupmh India has launched the Bonneville T4 at a sticker price of Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the country. The pre-bookings will commence from tomorrow evening, i.e. October 7, 2026 (04:30 PM) at the brand’s official website in India. Triumph Bonneville T4 deliveries are likely to start from mid-January 2027 onwards in the Indian market. Alongside the Bonneville T4, the British company also introduced the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black at Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) with multiple premium features.

First things first, Triumph Bonneville T4 design is inspired by the bigger Bonneville motorcycles in the brand’s portfolio. It gets several retro classic styling elements in the form of sculpted teardrop fuel tank, round LED headlamp with signature DRLs, longer mudguards, Classic rubber knee pads, iconic three-bar Triumph tank badge, brushed peashooter silencer and classically shaped aluminium engine covers.

The suspension duties are performed by telescopic front forks and twin-shock rear absorbers. The bike rides on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoked wheels with lightweight aluminium rims. A special mention goes to chrome-finished mirrors and grab hoop, which are combined with brushed aluminium heel guards. Triumph branding can be seen on key components such as the handlebar clamp, front mudguard, engine covers and within the front and rear lights.

The Bonneville T4 is offered in three paint schemes namely Phantom Black, Carnival Red and Competition Green. It boasts of a coloured LCD instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation, three ride modes and dual-channel ABS as standard features. The saddle height can further be reduced to as low as 770 mm using an accessory low seat. It misses out on several premium bells and bells whistles which we see on the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black.

At the heart, the Bonneville T4 has the Triumph’s 350cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled TR Series engine which generates max power of 28.6 bhp at 7,000 rpm and peak torque of 31 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. The stopping power comes from single disc brakes at front and rear. The T4 tips the weighing scale at 195 kg while clocking a top speed of 132 kmph.

Steve Sargent, Chief Product Officer, Triumph Motorcycles, said: “The Bonneville is one of the most significant motorcycles in Triumph’s history, so introducing a new model carrying that name comes with a responsibility to get it right. From the outset, our ambition was not simply to create a smaller Bonneville, but to create a motorcycle that delivers the style, character and ownership experience riders expect from a genuine Bonneville. Bringing that experience to more riders is strategically important for Triumph, particularly as lower-capacity motorcycle categories continue to grow around the world.”
