The Nexus EX+ electric scooter can handle daily weight loads of 200 kg with ease while clocking top speed of 93 kmph in India
Greaves Electric Mobility has launched the new Ampere Nexus EX+ electric scooter in the Indian market. The standard variant is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh while the IoT-enabled Intellipack can be availed at an extra cost of Rs 6,000, thus taking the overall price to Rs 1.36 lakh. The new Nexus EX+ will be available across Ampere dealerships nationwide. Sitting on a dual-frame steel chassis, it comes equipped with next-generation 3 kWh LFP battery pack which returns a range of 136 km on a full charge.
The new Ampere Nexus EX+ electric scooter is offered in two premium colours namely Carbon Knight and Steel Grey. The Intellipack brings 30+ intelligent features through the Ampere Connect App, including real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, Find My Scooter, turn-by-turn navigation, remote vehicle diagnostics, trip reports, ride stats, charging history, energy insights, battery health score and service booking.
The battery is linked to a new 5 kW mid-mounted electric motor which produces peak torque of 202 Nm at the wheel while enabling the electric scooter to do a 0-40 kmph sprint in merely 4.5 seconds. It also comes with an IP65-rated water-resistant charger which takes 3 hours and 10 mins for a 0-80 percent battery juice up. The Nexus EX+ can clock a top speed of up to 93 kmph.

The new Nexus EX+ comes with a long battery life of 2 lakh km. It also boasts a 5-year/75,000 km standard battery warranty.The electric scooter is packed with four ride modes namely Eco, City, Power and Reverse. Ampere has installed a 6.2-inch digital instrument cluster while the lighting is all-LED including the headlamp and tail-lamp clusters.

Riding on 12-inch alloy wheels, the EX+ has a ground clearance of 170 mm. The saddle height is kept at 765 mm. The length of the seat and floorboard are 712 mm and 235 mm, respectively. The suspension duties are performed by telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear absorbers. The stopping power comes from front disc and rear drum brakes as standard.
