Suzuki’s export business surged by 41 percent YoY while the domestic sales recorded a minor YoY growth of 3 percent in September 2026
Suzuki India has posted overall sales of more than 1.33 lakh units in September 2026 with a YoY growth of 8 percent. The Japanese brand had retailed over 1.23 lakh units during the same month last year. The domestic sales witnessed a modest YoY growth of 3 percent last month as volumes were recorded at 1.09 lakh units as compared to 1.06 lakh units in September 2025. The export business, however, on the other hand, registered handsome double-digit YoY growth of 41 percent as Suzuki shipped 24,882 units in September 2026 against 17,664 units in the corresponding month last year.
Commenting on the sales performance, Mr. Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, “We thank our customers and dealer partners for their continued trust and support. September saw growth in both domestic sales and exports, with domestic sales improving over last year’s higher base when GST 2.0 reforms supported customer demand. As the festive season progresses, our focus remains on meeting customer expectations and making the Suzuki ownership experience more convenient, connected and rewarding.”
The brand’s spare parts sales achieved its highest-ever monthly revenue as it reached at an all-time high of Rd 1,112 million in September 2026, up by 26 percent from Rs 881 million in September 2025. Recently, Suzuki updated the entire Gixxer line-up, including the 150cc, 250cc and flex-fuel versions, with multiple new dual-tone colour options in the Indian market.

The 2026 Gixxer and 2026 Gixxer SF were rolled out in a new Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Blaze Orange paint shade while the 2026 Gixxer 250, 2026 Gixxer SF 250, and 2026 Gixxer SF 250 FFV received a new Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray colourway. In addition, the Gixxer SF 250 flex-fuel version was also offered in a single-tone Glass Sparkle Black colour option.
Suzuki Gixxer price starts at Rs 1.37 lakh, while the Gixxer SF will be available at Suzuki dealerships at Rs 1.41 lakh. As for the Gixxer 250, the naked motorcycle is retailed at a starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh while the fully-faired Gixxer SF 250 comes at a price tag of Rs 1.93 lakh. Last but not the least, the Gixxer SF 250 flex-fuel version is priced at Rs 1.98 lakh. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition was also launched last week in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Presented in an exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue paint scheme, it gets distinctive styling elements and premium finishing details. In addition, the Japanese two-wheeler brand introduced the 2026 Hayabusa at a price point of Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) with three new dual-tone colour options.
