2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z TFT Launch Price Rs 1.90 Lakh in India

The NS400Z has been updated with 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, Google Maps mirroring, Music Control, Document Storage, and Lap Timer

Bajaj Auto has launched the 2026 Pulsar NS400Z TFT at a sticker price of Rs 1.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. The brand claims that it is the most feature-loaded motorcycle in its segment with the likes of 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, Google Maps mirroring, Music Control, Document Storage, and Lap Timer. The Pune-based two-wheeler company is on a launching spree as in the last few days it has rolled out the Pulsar N160 4V, and new-gen models of the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in our country.

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z retains several features from the outgoing model in the form of 4 Ride Modes, Traction Control, Electronic Throttle Body, 43 mm USD front suspension, Dual-channel ABS, Sports Shifter and Radial tyres. It has been equipped with a couple of new features, which are USB Type-C charging port and Panic Brake Alert.

Speaking on the announcement, Mr. Sarang Kanade, Chief Business Officer, Two-wheeler Business Unit, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said, “For over 25 years, Pulsar has evolved with the changing needs of riders while staying true to the performance and attitude at the heart of the brand. The NS400Z has always been built around an engaging performance experience, and with this update, we have added advanced technology that brings greater convenience and connectivity to the way riders use their motorcycle today. We have retained what makes the NS400Z distinctive while making the riding experience more intuitive and definitely daring.”

At the heart, the 2026 NS400Z houses the same 349cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which returns top power of 39.4 bhp at 9,000 rpm and highest torque of 33 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Paired with a 6-speed transmission, the bike has a power-to-weight ratio of 226 bhp per ton. The NS400Z is the brand’s flagship motorcycle in the NS series with several more models such as the Pulsar NS200, Pulsar NS160, and the Pulsar N125.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z was updated with a 350cc engine in May 2026 to enjoy lower tax benefits. The downsized 350cc engine was developed from the existing 373cc powertrain of the bike with a slight drop in power and torque by 2.4 bhp and 1.8 Nm, respectively. It was launched at a sticker price of Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market.

The company claimed that the introduction of the downsized 350cc engine in the motorcycle ensures that it attracts 18 percent GST and hence unlocking savings of up to Rs 24,500 on the final on-road pricing. So, as we can see, the recently launched TFT variant is nearly Rs 10,000 more expensive than the model launched in May 2026. The updated bike has already reached the company showrooms as reported by us last week when it was spotted undisguised at a Bajaj dealership.
