BMW M 1000 R ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ Edition Bookings Start in India

The M 1000 R ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ Edition has been rolled out in a Nürburgring Green livery with Alcantara leather seat

BMW Motorrad has brought the M 1000 R ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ Edition to the Indian shores while also announcing that limited units of this special anniversary edition will be sold in India. It is available for pre-order at the company authorized dealerships in the country from today onwards. For those asking, Nürburgring is hidden within Germany’s Eifel Mountains and considered the most demanding racetrack in motorsport. This 20.8-kilometer racing circuit is fondly addressed as “Green Hell” due to over 150 corners, bends, and endless elevation changes.

BMW M 1000 R ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ Edition has been presented with a painted fuel tank with Nürburgring silhouette, an airbox cover in the anniversary design with individual “one of 100” marking, and carbon wheels with accent stripes in Nürburgring Green. It also gets the seat in Alcantara leather with embroidered “100” numbering. The rear swingarm and rear frame have been finished in a black theme.

The M 1000 R is the German brand’s flagship motorcycle and hence, it has been chosen for the ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ Edition. The 2026 M 1000 R was launched in March 2026 at a staggering price point of Rs 33.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India) in the country. The naked supersport roadster is sold via the CBU route in India. BMW Motorrad claimed that the latest model comes with improved track performance due to revision in traction control and M Quick action throttle.

Upfront, the stock bike flaunts a new twin LED headlamp setup which is inspired by the other RR models in the BMW’s line-up. The brake ducts are positioned into the front mudguards to optimize airflow near the fork legs and brake calipers. It comes with a standard warranty for ‘three years, unlimited kilometres’, with an option to extend the warranty to fourth and fifth year.

The ‘100 Jahre Nürburgring’ Edition retains all the features of the standard version which include 6.5-inch TFT instrument cluster, rear USB charging socket, adaptive turning light, electronic cruise control, heated grips, start-up animation with M logo, and ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race and Race Pro1-3). A special mention goes to Dynamic Traction Control DTC and DTC wheelie function with 6-axis sensor box.

The supersport roadster sprints from 0-100 kmph in merely 3.2 seconds while clocking a top speed of 280 kmph.
