Suzuki Hayabusa Special Edition has been launched in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Rolled out in an exclusive Pearl Vigor Blue paint scheme, it gets distinctive styling elements and premium finishing details. In addition, the Japanese two-wheeler brand has introduced the 2026 Hayabusa at a price point of Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) with three new dual-tone colour options in the form of Candy Daring Red + Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Galaxy Gray + Candy Burnt Gold, and Pearl Vigor Blue + Pearl Brilliant White.
The Hayabusa Special Edition comes with multiple unique elements such as special decals and wheel finish, a three-dimensional ‘Suzuki’ fuel tank emblem, a ‘Special Edition’ potting emblem on the fuel tank, anodised muffler-end and heat-guard components, and a single-seat cowl. Both the stock bike as well as the Special Edition is offered with new ELIIY Power lithium-ion battery which is lighter and more compact than before as it delivers more stable voltage under load.
Suzuki has also tweaked the settings of Launch Control System and Power Mode Selector. Furthermore, Smart Cruise Control feature will now remain active during gear shifts too while allowing riders to maintain the selected road speed without having to hold the throttle open. Sitting on a twin-spar aluminium frame, both the superbikes are fitted with Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres as standard.
The front suspension duties are performed by adjustable KYB inverted forks. Suzuki has installed Brembo Stylema front brake callipers with dual 320 mm full-floating discs. The Hayabusa has undergone extensive wind-tunnel testing to provide wind protection in normal and fully tucked-in riding positions to ensure high-speed performance and stability.
Some of the notable features onboard the 2026 Hayabusa and Hayabusa Special Edition are LED lighting, Motion Track Traction Control System, Bi-directional Quick Shift System, Suzuki Easy Start System, Low RPM Assist and Slope Dependent Control System. Mechanically, the superbikes are powered by the same 1,340 cc 4-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine while the exhaust note has been tuned using the Exhaust Sound Quality Evaluation Program.
