The electric scooter will initially be available in Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam through Honda RedWing dealerships
Honda QC3 electric scooter has been launched in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It was showcased a couple of months back in July 2026 in our country. The e-scooter will initially go on sale in five cities namely Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam through select authorized Honda RedWing dealerships. Developed as a smart family electric scooter, the QC3 will directly rival Ola S1X, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Hero Vida V2 in the domestic market in India.
Honda QC3 bookings have started at a token amount of Rs 5,000 on the official company website or at the respective authorized dealerships. It will be available in four colour options namely Matt Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue. The electric scooter comes with an underseat storage capacity of 32 litres.
Some of the notable features onboard the QC3 electric scooter are 5-inch instrument cluster with TFT screen, Honda RoadSync, turn-by-turn navigation and Smart Key. It is powered by a 3.0 kWh battery pack which returns an IDC range of 145 km on a full charge. The e-scooter takes around 2 hours and 40 minutes for a 0-80 percent charge while a full juice up takes approx four hours.

Honda presently retails QC1 and Activa e in the Indian market. The QC1 is offered with a fixed 1.5 kWh battery pack which delivers max range of 80 km on a single charge while the top speed is 50 kmph. The price tag of Rs 90,708 (ex-showroom) makes it Honda’s most affordable electric scooter in India. Hence, with a larger battery pack and higher range, the QC3 has been positioned above the QC1.
On the other hand, the Activa e is powered by two detachable batteries of 1.5 kWh each which ensure a range of 102 km in one go. There is no option of home charging of these battery packs and the customer has to soley rely on the brand’s battery swapping network, which is still in the nascent stages. Further, the starting price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) makes it a totally impractical offering.

Therefore, Honda has a great opportunity to cash in the growing popularity of electric scooters in India with the QC3. Despite being manufactured locally in India, the e-scooter will be rolled out in a phased manner in our market. It will not be available in every city of India right from the launch, and the availability in tier 2 and 3 cities will be expanded gradually.
