The Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750 are merely 50 days away from their highly-anticipated world premiere at the EICMA 2026 in Italy
Royal Enfield is all set to launch its biggest-ever motorcycle in terms of engine displacement. Well, it could not be just one but two 750cc motorcycles debuting in Nov 2026 at the Milan Motorcycle Show in Italy. The company is likely to unveil the Himalayan 750 and Continental GT 750 at the EICMA 2026 and both of these could go on sale in the Indian market within the FY27, i.e. March 2027. The 750cc duo has already been spotted during the test runs on several occasions in India as well as in foreign countries, including the UK.
Recently, a pre-production prototype of Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 was showcased in India for the very first time at the 2026 Himalayan Base Camp in Ladakh. It was flaunting a rugged styling which appears to have been inspired by the all-new Himalayan 440. Some of the notable design elements included a round LED headlamp, tall windscreen, massive fuel tank (could store around 20L fuel), upswept exhaust pipe, spoke/alloy wheels and muscular side fairing.
The prototype showcased at the Himalayan Base Camp 2026 in Ladakh was fitted with Vredestein Centauro tubeless dual-purpose tyres. The suspension duties were helmed by USD forks with preload and rebound adjustability at the front while the rear unit was a monoshock with adjustable preload. It featured a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup.
As for Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 was spotted testing in a near production form near the brand’s factory in Chennai. Being a fully-faired cafe-racer model, it was equipped with clip-on handlebars, bar-end mirrors, and alloy wheels. The twin exhaust pipes in matte black finish were also visible in the spy images. The engine also boasted of the same black theme.
The Continental GTR 750 is expected to get a dual disc brake setup at the front. A few prominent features onboard the Continental GT 750 could be slipper clutch, all-LED lighting, tubeless tyres, dual-channel ABS, and twin-pod instrument cluster. However, it is likely to miss out on the Tripper screen with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
At the heart, Himalayan 750 as well as the Continental GT 750 will have the newly-developed 750cc parallel-twin petrol engine which is likely to generates top power of at least 55 bhp and highest torque of 60 Nm. This will be a major upgrade from the existing 650cc engine which pumps out max power of 47 bhp and peak torque of 52 Nm. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
