BMW F 450 GS will now be available in a price bracket of Rs 4.95-5.60 lakh as compared to launch price range of Rs 4.70-5.30 lakh in India
BMW F 450 GS was officially launched in April 2026 in the Indian market as the German brand’s entry-level adventure motorcycle. It was offered in three variants namely Base, Exclusive and GS Trophy at prices of Rs 4.70 lakh, 4.90 lakh, and Rs 5.30 lakh, respectively. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. Now, we have learnt that the company has silently hiked prices of the F 450 GS by Rs 25,000-30,000, depending on the variant. The ADV motorcycle is locally produced at TVS factory in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
Starting with the Base trim, it gets a hike in price by Rs 25,000. It will now be sold at Rs 4.95 lakh as compared to the launch price of Rs 4.70 lakh. Identically, the Exclusive variant’s price has been increased by Rs 25,000 and it will now be retailed at Rs 5.15 lakh against the previous pricing of Rs 4.90 lakh. Last but not the least, the range-topping GS Trophy grade receives the highest price hike of Rs 30,000.
BMW F 450 GS Trophy will now be available at a price point of Rs 5.60 lakh while at the time of launch, it was offered at Rs 5.30 lakh. The deliveries of the F 450 GS were supposed to commence from June 2026 in India. However, due to overwhelming response and higher bookings, the deliveries finally kicked off in August 2026. The bookings were temporarily suspended due to high backlog and waiting period rising up to five months.

Despite the series production commencing in late Nov 2025, the waiting period is still higher due to the overwhelming response and exports being priortized over domestic volumes. Just so you know, the India-made F 450 GS is also being exported to several European countries, including the UK. The first batch of bikes allocated for the Indian market has already been sold out while the second batch is expected to arrive around Sep-Oct 2026.
Sitting on a a welded tubular steel frame with integrated forged parts, BMW F 450 GS adorns the iconic ‘GS’ design philosophy with peculiar styling elements such as the ‘X’ shaped full LED headlight, front beak, split-seat setup, tapered aluminum handlebar and body-coloured side panels. The fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres while the standard saddle height is pegged at 845 mm.
At the heart, the F 450 GS houses the newly developed 420cc twin-cylinder inline engine which generates top power of 47 bhp at 8750 rpm and highest torque of 43 Nm at 6750 rpm. The engine is linked to a 6-speed gearbox. BMW Motorrad is offering a wide range of accessories with the F 450 GS, including protection parts, luggage parts and navigation equipment.
