Hero Glamour X has become the first motorcycle in 125cc segment to feature single-channel ABS paired with an Integrated Braking System (IBS)
Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour X ABS at a sticker price of Rs 1.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market. It has been rolled out in two new colour options namely Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey in addition to the existing two paint shades, which are Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue. Hero Glamour X ABS has become the first motorcycle in 125cc segment to feature single-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) paired with an Integrated Braking System (IBS). The new variant will be available at the company authorised dealerships across the country from today onwards.
Hero Glamour X was originally launched in Aug 2025 at a starting price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in the local market in India. This is the first time that Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) tech has been offered with the motorcycle. It is already equipped with multiple other safety features which includes Panic Brake Alert and Hazard Lamps. Just so you know, Panic Brake Alert activates fast-flashing LED winkers that instantly alert trailing traffic during emergency braking.
Design-wise, the Glamour X ABS continues with muscular and sculpted styling as it gets all-LED lighting, ‘H’ Signature and sporty graphics as standard. Some of the notable features onboard the bike are Ride modes (Eco, Road & Power), Ride by Wire throttle, Cruise control, Dual under-seat mobile storage, C-Type USB charging port, Long flat seat with lower height (790 mm), and wider handlebar for relaxed riding posture.
It also boasts of a 4.2-inch multi-coloured digital TFT display with ambient lighting and 60+ functions. The riders can check Gear Shift Advisory, Distance-to-Empty and Real-Time Mileage Indicator on the TFT screen. Furthermore, the Smartphone can be paired with the instrument cluster through Bluetooth to access latest connectivity features such as Turn-by-Turn Navigation with ETA display, call notifications and SMS alerts.
Hero Glamour X ABS rides on 18-inch alloy wheels which are shod with 80/100 front and 100/80 rear tyres. At the heart, it packs a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which generates maximum power output of 11.4 bhp at 8250 rpm and peak torque delivery of 10.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres.
