Except for the model year, the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 remains unchanged in terms of pricing, design, features and engine specs as compared to the outgoing model
Kawasaki India has launched the 2027 Versys 1100 at a sticker price of Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. Rolled out in Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black paint shade, it will be available in a single fully-loaded ‘Standard’ variant. The 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 remains unchanged in terms of pricing, design, features and engine specs as compared to the outgoing model. The adventure tourer directly rivals Triumph Tiger 900 GT and BMW F900 GS in the litre-class segment in the Indian market.
Some of the notable styling elements onboard the 2027 Versys 1100 are twin LED headlamps, compact LED blinkers, stepless adjustable windscreen, wide shrouds, split-seat setup with urethane cushioning, clean-mount pannier system, and upright riding position. It also comes with a massive fuel tank capacity of 21 litres while riding on 17-inch front and rear wheels.
Needless to mention, it comes heavily loaded with bells and whistles in the form of all-LED lighting, electronic cruise control, USB type-C charging port, dual-channel cornering ABS, traction control system, multiple power modes, economical riding indicator, assist & slipper clutch, and engine braking control system. The ADV tourer boasts of a semi-digital instrument cluster as standard.
Sitting on a tubular diamond frame, the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 comes fitted with 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tubeless tyres. It has a ground clearance of 150 mm while the saddle height is capped at 820 mm. Tipping the weighing scale at 235 kg (dry), the adventure motorcycle dual disc brake setup at the front while there is a single disc unit at the rear.
The suspension duties are performed by 43mm telescopic front forks and gas-charged monoshock rear unit with horizontal back-link, rebound damping, and remote spring preload adjustability. At the heart, it has the 1,099cc 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which belts out top power of 133 bhp at 9000 rpm and peak torque of 112 Nm at 7600 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
