TVS is preparing new motorcycles and scooters across multiple segments, while Norton is finally ready to begin its Indian comeback under TVS ownership
TVS Motor Company and its British subsidiary Norton Motorcycles have an interesting product pipeline lined up for India. TVS is working on everything from a new performance motorcycle to CNG and electric scooters, while Norton is preparing to establish itself as a premium motorcycle brand in India. Some of these products are closer to launch than others, but there is plenty to look forward to.
1. TVS Apache RR 450
The Apache RR 450 could be one of TVS’ biggest motorcycle launches in recent years. The fully-faired motorcycle has been spotted testing with a twin-cylinder engine, suggesting that TVS is finally preparing a bigger Apache positioned above the RR 310. The motorcycle is expected to use a 450 cc parallel-twin engine from the BMW F 450 GS. It could make its debut towards the end of 2026 or early 2027 and is expected to sit in the Rs 4 lakh-plus bracket.
2. TVS Jupiter CNG
TVS is also preparing a CNG-powered Jupiter, which could be one of the most interesting commuter scooters in the country. The company has been working on a dual-fuel system that would allow the scooter to run on both petrol and CNG, potentially improving running costs considerably. The scooter was showcased at the Auto Expo last year. The Jupiter CNG is currently expected towards the end of 2026, with an estimated price around Rs 90,000.
3. TVS Electric Motorcycle
TVS is also expected to introduce another electric two-wheeler, although details remain scarce. It is expected to be a motorcycle rather than another iQube derivative. TVS had filed a design patent for an electric motorcycle earlier this year with the code name eFX 30. This was the same design that was showcased at EICMA last year. The bigger question is where it will sit in the company’s growing EV strategy. TVS already has the iQube and Orbiter, while the upcoming product could give it a presence in an entirely new part of the electric two-wheeler market.
4. Norton Manx R
Norton’s Indian comeback is expected to begin with the Manx R, its flagship 1,200 cc superbike. The motorcycle uses a V4 engine producing around 206 bhp and 130 Nm, and is expected to be positioned against motorcycles such as the BMW S 1000 RR and Ducati Panigale V4. The Manx R is expected to be priced well into premium territory, with current estimates putting it around Rs 30 lakh and above.
5. Norton Atlas
The Norton Atlas will probably be the more important product for India because it brings the British marque into the middleweight adventure segment. Production has already begun at TVS’ Hosur facility, and the India launch is expected later in 2026. The Atlas uses a 585 cc parallel-twin engine producing 70 hp and 57.5 Nm, while getting a 19/17-inch wheel setup, adjustable suspension, an 8-inch TFT display and a comprehensive electronics package.
6. Norton Manx
The Norton Manx will sit below the flagship Manx R and is expected to become the company’s more approachable performance motorcycle. Details of the India-spec version are still limited, but the motorcycle is expected to use the new-generation platform being developed as part of Norton’s revival under TVS. An India launch is currently expected towards early 2027.
