The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition gets the ‘Khukri’ motif in the form of curved knives on the side panels and special badging on the fuel tank
We exclusively told you that Royal Enfield will introduce the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition on Aug 18, 2026 in the Indian market. Now, it has been spotted undisguised in the Dark Rifle Green colour scheme at a company dealership ahead of the official launch. Based on the range-topping ‘Chrome’ variant, Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition has been presented in the standard regimental uniform shade of Gorkha Regiment, which is one of the most decorated infantry forces in the Indian Army. In addition, it flaunts ‘Gorkha Edition’ badging on the side panels and fuel tank.
The ‘Khukri’ motif in the form of curved knives can be seen on the side panels while the fuel tank gets ‘Gorkha Edition’branding. Apart from the new colour scheme and the badgings, Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Collection remains the same in terms of features and engine specs. The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition gets a chrome-studded headlight cowl. In addition, the round bar-end mirrors and exhaust pipe are also finished in chrome.
Riding on wire-spoke wheels, the Gorkha Edition is offered with the same styling as it continues to carry the same elements as the standard Chrome variant. The Classic 350 is already available in nine colour schemes namely Redditch Red, Halcyon Black, Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand, Gun Grey, Stealth Black and Emerald Green. It is priced between Rs 1.87-2.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The range-topping Chrome variant, on which the Gorkha Edition is loosely based, is priced at Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Hence, the Classic 350 Gorkha Collection could be priced between Rs 2.25-2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Recently, Royal Enfield updated the dual-channel ABS variants of the Classic 350 with two new features in the form of Assist and Slipper Clutch and a USB Type-C Fast Charging port.
The Gorkha Edition is likely to get both these latest features while boasting of a dual-channel ABS as standard safety feature. It retains the signature elements of the stock motorcycle such as the round LED headlamp, adjustable brake and clutch levers, LED pilot lamps, semi-digital instrument cluster, Tripper navigation pod with Google Maps and gear position indicator.
Sitting on a twin downtube spine frame, it will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which generates max power of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres while the ground clearance is pegged at 170 mm. Inspired by the 1950 Royal Enfield G2, the Classic 350 is the brand’s best-selling motorcycle in India with average monthly sales of more than 30,000 units.
