Royal Enfield will launch the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition on August 18, 2026 in the Indian market. Likely to be based on the range-topping ‘Chrome’ variant, it will be rolled out in the Dark Rifle Green colourway at a media event in Delhi Catonment. For those asking, the Dark Rifle Green is the standard regimental uniform shade of Gorkha Regiment, which is an infantry force in the Indian Army. Apart from the new colour scheme, Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Collection is likely to remain the same in terms of features and engine specs.
The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition gets a chrome-studded headlight cowl. In addition, the round bar-end mirrors and exhaust pipe are also finished in chrome. Riding on wire-spoke wheels, it comes as a single-seat motorcycle. In terms of aesthetics, the Gorkha Collection remains unchanged as it continues to carry the same styling elements as the standard Chrome variant.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is already available in nine colour schemes namely Redditch Red, Halcyon Black, Madras Red, Jodhpur Blue, Medallion Bronze, Commando Sand, Gun Grey, Stealth Black and Emerald Green. It is priced between Rs 1.87-2.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The range-topping Chrome grade, which is available with the Emerald Green colourway, is priced at Rs 2.23 lakh (ex-showroom).
Recently, Royal Enfield updated the dual-channel ABS variants of the Classic 350 with two new features in the form of Assist and Slipper Clutch and a USB Type-C Fast Charging port. Hence, we can expect the Gorkha Edition to get both these latest features while boasting of a dual-channel ABS as standard safety feature. Hence, the Classic 350 Gorkha Collection could be priced around Rs 2.25-2.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Gorkha Edition will retain the signature elements of the stock motorcycle such as the round LED headlamp, adjustable brake and clutch lever, LED pilot lamps, and a gear position indicator. Inspired by the 1950 Royal Enfield G2, the Classic 350 is the brand’s best-selling motorcycle in India with average monthly sales of more than 30,000 units.
The Classic 350 Gorkha Edition will also get the brand’s Tripper pod for navigation via the Royal Enfield app and Google Maps. Sitting on a twin downtube spine frame, it will be powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which generates max power of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 13 litres while the ground clearance is pegged at 170 mm.
