Suzuki contined to be India’s fifth biggest two-wheeler brand in terms of sales volumes by racing past Royal Enfield and Yamaha in July 2026
Suzuki 2-Wheelers India has achieved its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2026 by retailing a total of 1,42,985 units, including exports. The company registered a decent YoY growth of 26 percent as 1,13,600 units were sold in July 2025. The domestic volumes touched an all-time high last month at 1,23,216 units, up by 28 percent from 96,029 units in the corresponding month last year. The export business also recorded a double-digit YoY growth of 13 percent as 19,769 units were shipped last month from India as compared to 17,571 units in July 2025.
Commenting on the performance, Mr. Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. In June 2026, Suzuki clocked retail volumes of 91,264 units in the domestic market. It posted a strong YoY growth of 23 percent as 73,934 units were dispatched during the same month last year. However, the MoM numbers declined by 17 percent as the May 2026 sales surpassed 1.10 lakh units. The Access was the best-selling Suzuki model in June 2026 while the Burgman showed healthy YoY growth.

The 2027 Suzuki Hayabusa was recently unveiled with new colour options and advanced technology. Sitting on the twin-spar aluminum frame, it retains the iconic silhouette with Hayabusa Kanji symbols and name logos. The 2027 Hayabusa was presented in Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Reflective Blue paint shades. Apart from the standard version, the 2027 Hayabusa special edition was also rolled out in an exclusive dual-tone Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Oort Gray colour scheme.
Suzuki Hayabusa achieved record sales in FY26 as a total of 543 units were sold in India with a YoY growth of 6 percent as compared to 511 units in FY25. The sales data showed that retail volumes were higher in the first half of FY26 before the GST 2.0 came into effect in Sep 2025. Due to the revised tax structure, which increased tax from 28 percent to 40 percent on two-wheelers with engine capacity above 350cc, it became more expensive by Rs 1.16 lakh.

The sales data further revealed that the Hayabusa remains Suzuki’s best-selling superbike in India with overall sales of 2943 units till date. In the first half of FY26, 324 units of the Hayabusa were sold while it went down by 32 percent to 219 units in the second half of FY26. Presently, Suzuki Hayabusa is available at a sticker price of Rs 18.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market.
