Royal Enfield has registered its highest-ever quarterly sales in Q1 FY27 (Apr-Jun 2026) with a YoY growth of 27 percent. The brand dispatched 332,940 motorcycles in Q1 FY27 against 261,326 motorcycles in the corresponding quarter last year. The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand also stated that the Board of Directors have approved an investment of Rs 1,225 crores for the Phase I of the Greenfield expansion in Andhra Pradesh. This facility, upon full utilisation, can produce an additional 4.5 lakh motorcycles per year.
Royal Enfield’s new manufacturing plant is expected to be fully operational by FY 2029-30, subject to market conditions. The company launched its first all-electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, earlier this year in the Indian market. It also inaugurated the first Flying Flea showroom in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The deliveries for the Flying Flea C6 commenced from June 2026, as part of a phased, city-by-city expansion strategy.
Speaking on Royal Enfield’s performance, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd., and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield said, “Building on a record-setting performance in FY26, we have sustained our strong momentum into the new financial year, with Royal Enfield recording its highest-ever quarterly sales. This quarter was historic for Royal Enfield as we commenced deliveries of the Flying Flea C6 electric motorcycle. The early response to the FF.C6 has been highly positive, reinforcing our vision of creating a new category of premium city+ electric mobility.”

Royal Enfield also launched the Bullet 650 in May 2026 across India, EMEA and ANZ regions. Rolled out in Cannon Black and Battleship Blue colourways, it was introduced at a starting price of Rs 3.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The Bullet 650 rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels while powered by the same 648cc parallel-twin petrol engine with top power of 46.4 bhp at 7250 rpm and peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5650 rpm.
Royal Enfield also introduced the 2026 Hunter 350 in April with a new Base Premium variant in Tarmac Black, alongside new Mumbai Yellow and Moonshot White colourways. It was launched amidst much fanfare at the HunterHood festival in Lucknow. Being the brand’s most affordable 350cc motorcycle, it comes in a price range of Rs 1.50-1.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).

“We also strengthened our portfolio with the launch of the iconic Bullet on the 650cc platform. Globally, key markets continued to perform well, driven by new motorcycle launches. To support our growth over the long-term, we announced plans for a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Tada, Andhra Pradesh, to expand our capacity beyond the existing facilities in Tamil Nadu,” added Govindarajan.
