The Activa and Shine 125, with combined retail volumes of over 3.71 lakh units, accounted for nearly 80 percent of Honda’s overall sales in June 2026
Honda continued as India’s second largest two-wheeler brand in June 2026 with sales of 4,68,956 units. The Japanese brand registered a double-digit YoY growth of 20.6 percent as a total of 3,88,812 units were retailed in June 2025. Even the MoM sales surged by a marginal 2 percent as the company had recorded sales of 4,59,611 units in May 2026. The Activa continued to lead the sales charts for Honda with sales of 2,18,932 units last month. The fastest growing Honda model on a YoY basis was the Shine 100 in June 2026.
As for the Activa, it seems as if there is no alternative for the tried-and-trusted scooter in the Indian two-wheeler industry and it is likely to rule the roost until Honda finally decides to retire it. With a YoY growth of 19 percent, Honda sold 2,18,932 units of the Activa in June 2026 as compared to 1,83,265 units in June 2025. However, the MoM sales was down by 4 percent as 2,28,955 units were retailed in May 2026.
The second best-selling Honda was the Shine 125 in June 2026 with retail volumes of 1,52,415 units. Being India’s top-selling 125cc motorcycle last month, the Shine 125 posted YoY and MoM growth of 13 percent and 8 percent, respectively. The company had sold 1,34,817 units of the bike in June 2025 while 1,40,901 units of the Shine 125 were retailed in May 2026.

The Shine 100 was the fastest-growing company model in terms of YoY sales with 80 percent surge as Honda was able to sell 15,157 units last month against 8,401 units in June 2025. Honda CB Unicorn 150 was the third highest-selling model in June 2026 as 37,617 units were sold in the domestic market. Honda Dio was the only scooter in Honda’s line-up to report a YoY de-growth at 25 percent with sales of 18,230 units last month against 24,278 units in June 2025.
The Dio 125 reported sales of 13,229 units in June 2026. The recently launched CB 125 Hornet posted sales of 4,058 units last month as it locks horns with Hero Xtreme 125R and Bajaj Pulsar N125. Two more Honda motorcycles namely CB 350, and H’ness 350 registered positive YoY growth of 62 percent and 55 percent, respectively, in June 2026. The company sold 3,821 units of the CB 350 while 2,041 units of the H’ness 350 were sold last month.

The sales of the SP160 declined by 5 percent on a YoY basis as 2,271 were retailed in June 2026 as compared to 2,380 units sold during the same month last year. The sales numbers of Hornet 2.0, CB200X, Livo, QC1 and e-Activa for June 2026 were not available, till the time of publishing this piece and hence, the same do not reflect in this piece.
