Yamaha Aerox E Launch Price Rs 2.82 Lakh, 117 Km Range

The Aerox E will initially be available in five major cities via the Yamaha Blue Square Showrooms

Yamaha India has launched the Aerox E electric scooter at a staggering price of Rs 2.82 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) in the country. Unveiled in Nov 2025, it will initially be available in five cities namely New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru at Yamaha Blue Square Showrooms. Yamaha Aerox E has become the highest priced electric scooter in India, surpassing TVS X which is priced at Rs 2.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Based on the ICE-powered Aerox 155, the high-performance all-electric scooter can be booked at a token amount of Rs 2,000 on Yamaha’s official website.

Adorning Yamaha’s “Heart-Shaking Speedster” design philosophy, the Aerox E comes with several striking elements in the form of ‘X’ Centre Motif, Dual-LED Class-D headlights, LED flashers and a 3D-effect LED taillight. Tipping the weighing scale at 139 kg, it rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with 110/80 section front and 140/70 section rear tyres.

The Aerox E is rolled out with front and rear disc brakes as standard. Though, it will only be available only in the Bluish White Cocktail paint scheme for the time being as Yamaha might introduce more colours at a later stage. The headlamp, blinkers and tail-lamp cluster house LED units. The traction control system also comes as a standard fitment.

Yamaha Aerox-E has been equipped with an array of premium features such as Single-channel ABS, Smart key system, Reverse mode, Boost mode and Multiple ride modes (Eco, Standard, and Power). It gets a 5-inch coloured TFT screen with Y-connect mobile app connectivity to access a plethora of functions in the form of turn-by-turn navigation, maintenance reminders and last parked location.

Yamaha Aerox-E is powered by two detachable battery packs of 1.5 kWh each as the maximum range stands at 117 km (Indian Driving Cycle) on a single charge. It has a top speed of 95.5 kmph (With Power + Boost mode). The battery is connected to a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) which delivers top power of 12.6 bhp and peak torque of 48 Nm.

Each battery charges in approximately 3 hours and 10 minutes while ergonomic grips allow home charging as well. The Aerox E has the ability to operate with a single battery while the other battery is charging. The battery packs come with a 3-year or 30,000 km warranty. Apart from the Aerox E, Yamaha also retails the locally developed EC 06 electric scooter in India at Rs 1.67 lakh with a range of 169 km.
