The new-gen Bajaj Pulsar Classic 150 will sit on an all-new platform while flaunting a completely new design along with modern features
Last year, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto confirmed that the new-gen Pulsar Classic 150 will be launched by mid 2026 in India as the one of most distinguished motorcycle nameplates in the country completes 25 glorious years of dominance. Now, we have learnt that the time has come to unleash the new-gen model of the bike as it is slated to finally launch in the coming 20-25 days in the Indian market with an all-new chassis while undergoing a complete design overhaul and equipped with latest features.
The biggest update in the new-gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 will come in the form of a new platform. The ongoing Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 use the ageing double-cradle frame which is suspended by dual shock rear absorbers. However, the new-gen models are expected to get the latest monoshock suspension, as we see in the modern N and NS/RS bikes in the Pulsar family.
As far as styling, both the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 are going to witness an ‘evolutionary’ setup while retaining most of the elements. The company might reintroduce the big fuel-tank look with the new models. Though nothing much is known about the exact design updates, we expect the Pulsar Classic range to boast of all-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity.

Mechanically, the Pulsar Classic models are likely to see a handful of updates due to the new chassis. However, the 125 and 150 duo will carry on with the current engine setup as they are hugely popular among the masses. The Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 are going to be the first two models in the Classic line-up to come with these updates as they go on sale in the next few days.
Bajaj Auto had recently updated the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220 with an all-LED lighting setup and refreshed graphics, which also included the newly introduced LED turn indicators. However, the new-gen models will come with substantial updates in the form of chassis, design and features as mentioned before in the article. The new-gen Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 are likely to be more expensive than the current versions.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 is the only motorcycle in the company’s portfolio without any major update for the last several years. Hence, due to the massive popularity that it enjoys among the masses, it makes a lot of sense for Bajaj to opt for a generational overhaul. The next-gen Bajaj Pulsar 150 could be launched in a price range of 1.05-1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country.
