The 450X Overtunes range gets all the modern features such as AutoHold, Infinite Cruise, Voice on Ather, Magic Twist, and Multi Mode Traction Control
Ather Energy has introduced the 450X Overtones range in the Indian market. Ather 450X Overtones come with a new tone-on-tone design treatment across Still White, Space Grey, and Lunar Grey colour schemes while retaining its signature silhouette. The brand’s flagship performance scooter adorns the ‘under-the-skin performance’ philosophy with modern use of patterns for further accentuating its appeal among the buyers. Apart from this, it gets a new 900W charger which reduces the charging time by nearly 30 percent.
The 450X Overtones continues with the latest features such as AutoHold, Magic Twist, and Multi Mode Traction Control. In addition, the Infinite Cruise function has also been retained. It enables effortless cruising at high speeds on open city roads while ensuring stability at low speeds on bad roads and seamless uphill and downhill gradability on hilly terrains.
Ather Energy rolled out the latest version of the company’s software platform Atherstack 7 at the 2025 Annual Community Day. The 450X Overtunes, powered by the Atherstack 7, also boasts of ‘Voice on Ather’ function which allows the riders to navigate, locate charging stations, and control key vehicle functions such as display brightness using voice commands.
The Bengaluru-based pure EV brand also introduced Halo smart helmet which connects rider’s phone with scooter dash and helmet for premium audio without uncomfortable earphones. The Halo smart helmet is also compatible with the 450X Overtones series. With Atherstack 7, the company also rolled out a host of safety features such as the CrashAlert which detects accidents and immediately sends a text to the rider’s emergency contacts.
The 450X Overtunes range also features ParkSafe where the Ather App warns the rider before parking in high-tow or theft-prone zones. Last but not the least, the LockSafe function allows riders to completely immobilize the motor via the app to prevent theft in open parking spaces. The flagship scooter in Ather Energy portfolio is priced at Rs 1.53 lakh (ex-showroom).
In the coming months, Ather EL01 electric scooter will be launched in the Indian market. The low-cost mass-market family electric scooter will debut Advanced Electronic Braking System (AEBS) in our country. Last year, the company filed the design patent of the upcoming e-scooter in India. It will get a new electric motor which will be mounted on the swingarm.
