Honda June 2026 Sales: 5.28 Lakh Units, 23% YoY Growth

Honda posted domestic sales of 4.68 lakh units in June 2026 with a YoY growth of 21 percent against 3.88 lakh units in June 2025

Honda 2-Wheelers India has clocked overall sales of 5.28 lakh units in June 2026 with a healthy YoY growth of 23 percent as 4.29 lakh units were sold during the same month last year. The Japanese brand delivered a stellar performance in Q1 FY27 (Apr-Jun 2026) with 16.11 lakh units being sold with a 17 percent YoY growth as compared to 13.75 lakh units in Q1 FY26 (Apr-Jun 2025). It continued to be India’s second largest two-wheeler brand while closing the gap with the segment-leader Hero MotoCorp in the first quarter of this financial year.

Commenting on HMSI’s performance, Mr. Tsutsumu Otani, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, “We have seen healthy growth momentum in the first quarter of FY2027 compared to the same period last year, supported by steady underlying demand conditions. Honda posted domestic sales of 4.68 lakh units in June 2026 with a YoY growth of 21 percent against 3.88 lakh units in June 2025. The export volumes surged from 40,335 units in June 2025 to 59,325 units in June 2026 with a YoY growth of 47 percent. Similarly, the domestic sales in Q1 FY27 stood at 14.13 lakh units as compared to 12.28 lakh units in the corresponding period of Q1 FY26 with a YoY growth of 15 percent.

Between Apr-Jun 2026, 1,98,123 units of made-in-India Honda scooters and motorcycles were shipped to various global markets as compared to 1,46,159 units during Apr-Jun 2025 with a YoY growth of 36 percent. The Japanese automaker has four production facilities in India at Manesar, Tapukara, Narsapura, and Vithalapur, while it serves more than 76 million customers through a network of over 7,000 touchpoints.

Recently, Honda launched the latest versions of four of its premium motorcycles in the country. These include the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch, 2026 XL750 Transalp E-Clutch, 2026 Gold Wing and 2026 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP at price points of Rs 10.49 lakh, Rs 13.20 lakh, Rs 44.30 lakh and Rs 33.50 lakh, respectively. All the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Gurgaon.

A few days back, Honda filed the design patent of the ADV160 in India. It is likely to launch within the next 6 months in our country. Honda ADV160 will be locally developed in India for domestic sales as well as exports. Riding on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels, the maxi-scooter comes with telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear suspension. It will be powered by a 157cc liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates top power of 16 bhp and peak torque of 14.7 Nm.
