TVS May 2026 Sales: Jupiter, Apache, iQube, Ronin

Most of the popular motorcycles and scooters in TVS portfolio showed positive YoY growth, except for the Raider, Sport and Star City

TVS Motor Company posted YoY sales growth of 24 percent in May 2026 with 3,84,565 units as compared to 3,09,287 units dispatched during the same month last year. The strong YoY growth was led by strong demand for motorcycles, mopeds, EVs and scooters. Even on a MoM basis, the company registered growth of 10 percent as 3,48,545 units were sold in Apr 2026. Needless to mention, the Jupiter continued to be the brand’s best-selling model with sales of 1,24,767 units in May 2026 as it contributed to almost one-third of total domestic sales.

TVS Jupiter sales grew by 28 percent on a YoY basis as the company had retailed 97,606 units in May 2025. The MoM sales rose by 6 percent as domestic sales stood at 1,17,383 units in Apr 2026. On the other hand, the iQube continued its dominance in the electric two-wheeler industry as sales touched 42,192 units in May 2026 as compared to 27,642 units in May 2025 with an impressive YoY growth of 53 percent.

The iQube has become one of the biggest volume churners for TVS as it contributes in double-digits (11 percent) in the total sales by the company in the Indian market. The Apache remained the brand’s highest-selling motorcycle range with 53,900 units, increasing from 49,099 units in May 2025, with a 10 percent YoY growth. It has models from 160cc to 310cc engine options.

TVS XL Super moped was the company’s third top-selling model with sales of 48,569 units in May 2026 as compared to 37,264 units in May 2025 with a strong YoY growth of 30 percent. The Ronin was the second fastest-growing TVS model with 99 percent YoY surge as volumes increased from 4,770 units in May 2025 to 9,481 units in May 2026. Even the MoM numbers improved by 6 percent.

TVS Raider, despite having retail volumes of 34,852 units in May 2026, recorded YoY de-growth of 2 percent as sales stood at 35,401 units in May 2025. TVS Ntorq sales reached 34,127 units in May 2026 as compared to 25,205 units in May 2025 with a YoY growth of 35 percent. The Zest, the company’s entry-level offering, also delivered steady growth with sales of 9,364 units in May 2026, up from 8,069 units in May 2025, with 16 percent YoY growth.

TVS RR 310 reported a flabbergasting YoY growth of 851 percent as volumes increased from just 208 units in May 2025 to 1,979 units in May 2026. The Radeon also posted YoY growth of 33 percent as sales rose from 10,315 units in May 2025 to 13,700 units in May 2026. TVS Sport, alongside the Raider, was the only second company model to witness a marginal decline in domestic sales on a YoY basis. The Star City registered zero dispatches in May 2026, hinting at a possible discontinuation.
