Upcoming Bajaj Adventure Bike Spotted Again, New Details Emerge

The upcoming adventure bike from Bajaj will ride on wire-spoke wheels while equipped with multiple luggage carrying accessories

Bajaj’s upcoming adventure motorcycle has been spotted testing once again near Pune. The fresh set of spy shots reveal a few interesting details about the new ADV motorcycle, which is likely to be launched by early 2027 in the Indian market. Earlier this year, Bajaj Auto had confirmed that it will introduce a new sub-brand for adventure bikes in FY27 in India. The entry-level adventure tourer from Bajaj will be aimed squarely at the likes of Hero Xpulse 210, TVS Apache RTX 300, and Yezdi Adventure.

In the spy pics, we can see a heavily camouflaged test mule of Bajaj’s upcoming adventure tourer with a front beak, long single-piece seat, and high positioned handlebar. It is expected to be an adventure tourer built for long distance commutes rather than an out-and-out off-roader. The presence of rear top box also adds weight to the claim that it is going to be an entry-level adventure tourer with a big focus on practicality.

The new adventure bike from Bajaj is seen riding on wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres. It is likely to feature 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel setup which we generally see in adventure tourers with small engine displacement in the ballpark of 200-300cc. The suspension duties are carried by telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the rear.

The rear profile is quite sleek as it boasts of a LED tail-lamp cluster. Despite the rear top box, there seems to be adequate space for the pillion. The sources close to the development state that the upcoming Bajaj adventure bike could be based on KTM single-cylinder engine platform. Previously, it was spied alongside the Pulsar N250 which gave birth to speculations that it could be using the same engine and platform.

Now, if Bajaj chooses to equip its first adventure bike with the 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the KTM 250 Adventure, it could have a top power in excess of 30 bhp and peak torque around 25 Nm while linked to a 6-speed gearbox. The possibilities of Bajaj developing its own unique platform for the upcoming ADV bike cannot be ruled out entirely.

In terms of features, we can expect premium features in the form of all-LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation among others. The Bajaj adventure bike price could start from Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) while the top-end variant could be priced around Rs 2.30 lakh in the Indian market.
