Through the ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ Programme, Ultraviolette has rolled out cashback benefits for customers upgrading from petrol to electric two-wheelers
Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ programme in the Indian market. Amidst the rising fuel prices across the country, it intends to make the adoption of EVs easier and more affordable for the buyers. Under this programme, the company is offering heavy cashback on the purchase of F77 and X-47 electric motorcycles. The cashback amount will be equivalent to the km covered by the customer in the last 2 years on his/her petrol two-wheeler. For reference, if a customer has ridden 20,000 km on his/her petrol bike in the last couple of years, he/she will be eligible for a cashback of Rs 20,000 on upgrading to F77 or X-47.
Commenting on the announcement, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder, Ultraviolette, said “The rising cost of petrol has been a topic of widespread discussion for some time now, but there has been relatively little action that directly helps consumers transition away from fuel dependency. At Ultraviolette, we believe the shift to electric mobility needs to be supported by tangible measures that make EV ownership more accessible and compelling, which is also in line with our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of fast-tracking EV transition.”
The maximum cashback under the ‘Kill the Petrol Bill’ programme has been capped to Rs 30,000. Ultraviolette F77 Superstreet is the brand’s flagship model which is sold in two variants namely Original and Recon at prices of Rs 3.09 lakh and Rs 4.24 lakh, respectively. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. The all-electric bike delivers a maximum range of 323 km (recon) on a full charge.

Similarly, the F77 Mach 2 can be availed by the customers in two variants namely Original and Recon at prices of Rs 3.09 lakh and Rs 4.24 lakh, respectively. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. Recently, Ultraviolette silently introduced a new variant of the X-47 Crossover in the Indian market at a sticker price of Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

“Through this programme, we are enabling prospective two-wheeler owners across India to make that switch with greater confidence, while benefiting from significantly lower running costs, advanced technology, and a superior ownership experience. As electric mobility continues to mature, our focus remains on accelerating adoption by making the transition easier and more rewarding for riders nationwide,” added Subramaniam.
