Last month, Honda NX500 E-Clutch was launched in India at a sticker price of Rs 7.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for the E-Clutch variant have already begun at Honda BigWing dealerships across the country. Honda NX500 E-Clutch is presented in two colour schemes namely Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic and Pearl Horizon White in the Indian market.

The NX500 debuted Honda’s globally proven clutch automation technology in India, which helps in reducing fatigue caused by regular clutch operation during busy city roads as well as long highway stretches. The E-Clutch system eliminates the need for manual operation of the clutch and manages clutch engagement during starting, gear shifting, and stopping.

Through the use of precise electronic control, it manages the clutch operation automatically while allowing riders to override the system at any time. In global markets, the E-Clutch technology is quite popular. At the heart, it has the 471cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which generates maximum power of 47 bhp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 43 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
