Bajaj Auto Sales FY26: 50 Lakh+ Units Sold, 10% YoY Growth

The company registered its highest-ever volumes by surpassing the previous peak of FY19

Bajaj Auto registered total sales of more than 50 lakh units in FY26 with a YoY growth of 10 percent in the Indian market. This was the home-grown two-wheeler brand’s highest-ever volumes as it surpassed the previous peak of FY19. This success story was spearheaded by the overwhelming demand in 125cc+ segment. In addition, the record sales of Chetak EV further fueled this growth. The commercial vehicle business posted an unprecedented growth with retail volumes crossing 5 lakh units in the last fiscal.

Bajaj stated that exports across most markets were at their best ever volumes. It clocked an all-time high revenue of Rs 58,732 crores with a YoY growth of 17 percent on both vehicles and spares sales. The domestic revenue, in particular, surged by 13 percent on a YoY basis with growth across both 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers in the second half of FY26 due to the arrival of GST 2.0 and festive season.

Despite a softer H1, Domestic Motorcycles rebounded to end the year with strong double digit growth in the sports segment. The Pulsar led the recovery with multiple refreshes and sharp in-market activation. KTM-Triumph delivered its best-ever performance in FY26 with 40 percent YoY growth, more than 2.25 lakh sales and global revenue of ~₹5,000 crores.

The KTM sales were bolstered by the upgraded Duke and strong Adventure lineup while Triumph posted decent numbers through its modern classics lineup with models such as Speed, Scrambler and Thruxton. The Chetak EV reported a new high with revenues exceeding Rs 4,000 crores and retaining its position among India’s leading electric scooters. Despite the supply-side challenges in H1, the EV business staged a strong recovery in H2.

In the Q4 FY26 (Jan-Mar 2026), operational revenue peaked at Rs 16,006 crore with a strong YoY growth of 32 percent which was driven by record volumes across all businesses such asdDomestic motorcycles, e2Ws, 3Ws, and exports. A special mention goes to domestic motorcycles which posted a milestone quarter with revenues going up by 30 percent on a YoY basis.

KTM–Triumph duo posted a landmark quarter, sustaining its strong run with over 40 percent YoY growth. The KTM performance was led by Duke while Speed 400 led the show for Triumph. The 350cc models, rolled out at the end of this quarter end, received an encouraging initial response. The Chetak EV delivered its strongest performance with retail volumes surpassing the 1 lakh milestone in Q4 FY26.
