Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Surpasses 6 Lakh Sales Milestone

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has achieved the 6 lakh units sales milestone globally. The cruiser motorcycle was first launched in Nov 2020 and it has taken slightly over five years to accomplish this feat. Apart from India, the Meteor 350 is sold in in 60+ countries including LATAM, SAARC and Europe. It was the first Royal Enfield motorcycle in the 350cc segment to be powered by the latest J-series platform. The Meteor 350 clocks average monthly sales of 8-9k units as it is the fourth best-selling model in RE portfolio after the Classic 350, Hunter 350 and Bullet 350.

The Meteor 350 is available in four trims namely Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova. Priced between Rs 1.96-2.16 lakh (ex-showroom), it is sold through Royal Enfield’s dealer network of more than 2000 stores in India and over 1000 outlets in the global markets. The Chennai-based two-wheeler brand introduced the Sundowner Orange special edition of the cruiser at the Motoverse 2025 at a price of Rs 2.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

Some of the notable features onboard the Meteor 350 are semi digital instrument cluster, Tripper navigation pod, LED lighting elements, premium switchgear, USB Type-C fast-charging port, Assist-and-slip clutch, premium aluminium tubeless spoke wheels, deluxe touring seat, flyscreen, passenger backrest and adjustable levers. It rivals Honda H’Ness CB350 and Jawa Forty Two.

The Meteor 350 comes equipped with the 349cc single-cylinder air-cooled J-series engine which develops top power of 20.2 bhp at 6100 rpm and peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The cruiser comes with two Genuine Motorcycle Accessories (GMAs) kits namely Urban and Grand Tourer for customizing the overall look.

While the Urban kit comes with Black drag handlebar, Black round bar-end mirrors, Black low rider seat and tinted flyscreen, the Grand Tourer kit includes Brown touring rider and pillion seat, Black premium longhaul pannier and pannier rails, deluxe foot pegs for rider and pillion, Black touring handlebar, Black LED fog lights, and Black round mirrors.

Royal Enfield had launched the updated Meteor 350 last year in the Indian market in seven paint shades namely Fireball Orange, Fireball Grey, Stellar Matt Grey, Stellar Marine Blue, Aurora Retro Green, Aurora Red and Supernova Black. Apart from the standard engine warranty of 3 years / 30,000 km, it can be availed with an additional 4 years or 40,000 km coverage.
