The world’s biggest two-wheeler brand continued its growth trajectory in both domestic market and export business in Feb 2026
Hero MotoCorp registered overall sales of 558,216 units in Feb 2026 with a YoY growth of 44 percent. The company had sold 388,068 units during the same period last year. The Vahan data shows that Hero had recorded 18 percent of YoY growth with 458,346 registrations in February 2026. The Vida EV sub-brand witnessed a three-fold increase in its market share over the same period last year. It posted positive growth with 12,514 registrations on Vahan portal in February 2026.
The company claims that YoY growth of 44 percent was fuelled by strong momentum in the scooter segment, sustained demand in the 100cc–125cc category, continued scale-up of VIDA, and double-digit expansion in global markets. The export business also posted YoY growth of 34 percent with 41,248 made-in-India bikes and scooters being shipped in February 2026 compared to 30,772 units during the same period last year.
The domestic sales stood at 516,968 units in Feb 2026 as compared to 357,296 units in Feb 2025. Hero sold 499,756 motorcycles last month against 352,312 units in Feb 2025. As for the scooters, the volumes were at 58,460 units in Feb 2026 while 35,756 units were sold during the corresponding period last year. As visible, both bike and scooter sales grew in Feb 2026.
