Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition India Launch by March 2026

The Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition could cost around Rs 1.90-1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market

Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. Now, we have learnt that it is likely to launch in the Indian market in the next couple of months, i.e. by March 2026. Hero Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition will be expensive than the stock bike due to the inclusion of premium off-road equipment. For reference, Hero Xpulse 210 is available in two variants namely Base and Top at Rs 1.62 lakh and Rs 1.71 lakh, respectively, in the country. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom, Delhi.

First things first, the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition gets fully adjustable rally-grade suspension setup at front and rear with travel distance of 280 mm. For the unversed, the standard version comes with suspension travel of 210 mm and 205 mm at front and rear, respectively. The longer suspension travel increases its off-roading capabilities upto a huge extent.

The Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition also comes with higher ground clearance of 270 mm as compared to the standard model. The brand stated that it has also increased the seat height without revealing the exact figure as compared to the stock version. Hero’s Motorsport team won the 2024 FIM World Title while also having a Dakar Podium finish last year. Hence, in order to celebrate these victories, the Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition was rolled out.

Apart from these updates, the Dakar Edition remains the same in terms of design, features and engine specs. However, it is expected to be heavier in weight due to the additional equipment than the stock bike which tips the scale at 168 kg and 170 kg for the Base and Top variants, respectively. It will be available in a Glacier White colour scheme in the Indian market.

The only visual update comes in the form of an exclusive signature by Ross Branch and Dakar logo. It boasts of the same TFT instrument cluster which displays several important rider information. The Xpulse 210 Dakar Edition could directly lock horns with the road-legal version of the Kawasaki KLX230 in India as it comes in the same price domain at Rs 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom).
