TVS also posted its highest-ever quarterly sales till in the third quarter of this financial year (2025-26) at 15.44 lakh units
TVS Motor Company registered monthly sales of 481,389 units in December 2025. The company achieved a staggering YoY growth of 50 percent as the brand had managed to retail 321,687 units in December 2024. Furthermore, the homegrown two-wheeler brand posted its highest-ever quarterly sales till in the third quarter of this financial year (2025-26) at 15.44 lakh units. As far as electric two-wheeler (e2w) business is concerned, TVS recorded a YoY growth of 77 percent with sales increasing from 20,171 units in December 2024 to 35,605 units in December 2025.
The two-wheeler division witnessed YoY growth of 25 percent with sales increasing from 11.83 Lakh units in Q3FY25 to 14.84 Lakh units in Q3FY26. The three-wheeler business saw a phenomenal rise in sales from 0.29 Lakh units in Q3FY25 to 0.60 Lakh units in Q3FY26 with a YoY growth of 106 percent. The global sales also soared high with 2.94 Lakh units sold in Q3FY25 to 4.10 Lakh units in Q3FY26 with a growth of 40 percent.
The overall two-wheeler sales increased from 312,002 units in December 2024 to 461,071 units in December 2025 with a YoY growth of 48 percent. In the domestic market, the YoY sales grew by 54 percent with volumes increasing from 215,075 units in December 2024 to 330,362 units in December 2025. It was probably one of the best years for TVS as it had ‘growth’ written all over it.

If we talk about motorcycles in particular, the YoY sales increased from 144,811 units in December 2024 to 216,867 units in December 2025 with a growth of 50 percent. The scooter segment also posted a YoY growth of 48 percent with sales increasing from 133,919 units in December 2024 to 198,017 units in December 2025. It even surpassed Hero MotoCorp which retailed a total of 4,56,479 units last month.
Coming to the export business, it registered a YoY growth of 40 percent with sales increasing from 104,393 units in December 2024 to 146,022 units in December 2025. The two-wheeler exports, in particular, showed a YoY growth of 35 percent with sales increasing from 96,927 units in December 2024 to 130,709 units in December 2025. TVS scooters and motorcycles are sold in more than 80 countries across the world.

Last but not the least, the three-wheeler business also recorded a sensational sales growth of 110 percent with 20,318 units in December 2025 as compared to 9,685 units sold during the same month last year. Presently, TVS is the third biggest two-wheeler brand in India after Hero and Honda, while being the largest EV brand in the country in the two-wheeler segment.
