Triumph Bikes Price Increasing from Jan 2026 in India

The entire range of Triumph motorcycles will become more expensive from January 1, 2026 in the Indian market

Triumph India has announced a price hike across its entire model range from January 1, 2026 in the country. The present ex-showroom prices will be valid till Dec 31, 2025. The British brand, in an official statement, stated that the buyers can still book all the Triumph motorcycles at existing price till end-December. Recently, a few other two-wheeler brands, including BMW Motorrad and Ather Energy, too had announced a similar hike in price on their model line-up from Jan 1, 2026 across the country.

In Sep 2025, the Union Govt had introduced the GST 2.0 under which the tax on two-wheelers with engine capacity above 350cc was increased from 28 percent to 40 percent. As a subsequent result of this move, several leading auto companies including Royal Enfield had raised the prices of their models with engine capacity beyond 350cc. Due to the GST overhaul, the big bikes became more expensive while smaller ones with engines below 350cc became cheaper as tax was slashed to 18 percent from the existing 28 percent.

However, at that time, Triumph chose not to increase the prices of its 400cc range of motorcycles despite the higher GST and absorbed this impact without directly passing it to the customer. Furthermore, it rolled out a ‘Special Festive Price’ offer on the Speed 400 and Speed T4 in order to attract more buyers during the festive season period. It was an understood thing that this was an interim relief and later at some point of time, the price hike will take place.

Triumph retails five 400cc motorcycles in the Indian market in the form of the Speed T4 (Rs 1.93 lakh), Speed 400 (Rs 2.34 lakh), Scrambler 400 X (Rs 2.68 lakh), Thruxton 400 (Rs 2.74 lakh) and Scrambler 400 XC (Rs 2.95 lakh). These bikes are going to costlier with this hike in price. However, sources have told us that Triumph is working on a new 350cc engine, the downsized version of the current 400cc engine, and it could be introduced as early as June 2026.

Speaking on the revision, Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said,” The company emphasizes its commitment to providing premium quality products and services to its dealers and customers. Customers planning to purchase a Triumph motorcycle are encouraged to take advantage of the prevailing prices by completing their purchases before the end of December 2025.”

Recently, BMW Motorrad India also increased the prices of its entire motorcycle and scooter range by up to 6 percent from Jan 1, 2026. The German brand said that price hike is initiated due to rising input costs of raw materials, higher logistics and Indian Rupee’s sharp depreciation against US dollar. BMW’s entry-level bike in India is the G 310 RR at Rs 2.81 lakh while the flagship model is the M 1000 XR at an astonishing Rs 48.63 lakh.
