This article lists the 2 upcoming adventure motorcycles going on sale in January 2026 in the Indian market
We are less than ten days away from ringing in the new year and bidding adieu to this year, which has been quite fruitful for the Indian two-wheeler industry. As 2026 kicks in a few days, various brands are ready to launch their new motorcycles in the country. We have confirmed news that two new adventure bikes will be launched in as early as Jan 2026 in the domestic market in India. Hence, in this piece, we will talk in detail about the upcoming adventure motorcycles launching next month in the Indian market.
1. BMW F 450 GS
The F 450 GS series production commenced at TVS factory in Nov 2025. Apparently, it was slated to launch at the recently concluded 2025 India Bike Week (IBW) on Dec 19, but it was postponed in favour of a Jan 2026 launch. The ADV bike had its world premiere at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. It will be the brand’s entry-level adventure bike in India as it is likely to come at a price tag of Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
BMW F 450 GS sits on a tubular frame which is suspended by KYB-sourced USD telescopic front forks and double-sided rear swing arm with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. The ADV motorcycle comes with an aggressive design with prominent elements being 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, ED headlight with “X” daytime riding light and an upswept stainless steel silencer.

It is introduced with a 6.5-inch instrument console with TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity which gives access to navigation, music playback and phone calls. At the heart, the F 450 GS houses the 420cc twin-cylinder water-cooled petrol engine with top power of 47 bhp and highest torque of 43 Nm. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox alongside Easy Ride Clutch (ERC).
2. KTM 390 Adventure R
KTM India confirmed at the recently concluded India Bike Week (IBW) 2025 that the off-road specific 390 Adventure R will be launched in the country in Jan 2026. Since it is heavily focused on off-roading, the adventure bike will come with onger suspension travel, higher ground clearance and bigger wheel setup as compared to the stock model of the 390 Adventure. Needless to state, it will be costlier than the standard version.

The 390 Adventure R will also be lighter in weight than the regular version. It will carry the same design and features while powered by the same 398.6cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which develops top power of 44 bhp and peak torque of 39 Nm. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Stay tuned to this page for more updates on the same.
