Harley-Davidson X440 T is likely to be the new flagship variant in the X440 range at an estimated price of Rs 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom)
Harley-Davidson, in association with Hero MotoCorp, revealed the X440 T just a couple of days back in the Indian market. Being the third 440cc motorcycle co-developed by both these brands, it will finally be launched on Dec 6, 2025 in the domestic market. As evident by the official images, Harley-Davidson X440 T gets multiple visual updates in order to distinguish it from the standard X440. However, in terms of features and technical specs, it is likely to remain the same as the regular version of the X440 roadster.
First things first, Harley-Davidson X440 T has a more proportionate and better looking rear profile as compared to the X440 due to the cosmetic updates carried out by the brand engineers. The rear three-quarter section boasts of a longer tail cowl and a new heat shield on the muffler end-can. The bike also comes with bar-end mirrors and a ribbed seat.
The front fascia is unchanged with identical elements as the X440. Even the graphics on the side panel have been carried over from the roadster model. The X440 T will be available in four paint schemes namely Black, White, Red and Dark Blue. The cycle parts and hardware is shared with the X440 including frame, suspension setup, braking system and wheels.
Some of the notable features expected onboard the X440 T are ride-by-wire throttle, riding modes, switchable traction control and switchable dual-channel ABS. The exclusion of cruise control feature, which was introduced with almost every new Hero motorcycle of late in the Indian market, is quite astonishing and disappointing at the same time.
At the heart, the X440 T will have the same 440cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled petrol engine which develops top power of 27 bhp at 6000 rpm and peak torque of 38 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine will be paired with the same 6-speed transmission. The X440 T will be similar to the standard X440 in terms of mechanicals with the same engine and gearbox.
Harley-Davidson X440 T price could be around Rs 2.90 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes it nearly Rs 10,000 more premium and expensive than the range-topping S variant of the standard X440 as it is priced at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
