Electric Scooter Sales Oct 2025: Bajaj Chetak EV Leads, iQube Follows

Bajaj Chetak EV finally outnumbered the TVS iQube and reclaimed its lost crown after a gap of three months in the domestic market

Bajaj Chetak EV has bounced back to reclaim the crown of India’s best-selling electric scooter in Oct 2025. The Chetak EV sales had dropped in the last few months due to production constraints because of global shortage of rare earth magnets. However, it finally outnumbered TVS iQube which has been the highest-selling electric scooter in the domestic market for the past several months. The third position was bagged by Ather Rizta ahead of formidable rivals such as Ola S1 and Hero Vida V2 & VX2 in the country.

Bajaj Auto sold a total of 34,900 units of the Chetak EV in Oct 2025 as compared to 30,644 units during the same period last year. It registered a YoY growth of 13.9 percent. While the Chetak EV was the best-selling electric scooter in India last month, it occupied the sixth position in the list of top 10 scooters, which also included ICE models such as Honda Activa, Suzuki Access and TVS Jupiter.

As for the iQube, TVS retailed 31,989 units of the electric scooter last month in the Indian market. It recorded a YoY growth of 10.6 percent as the company had managed to sell 28,923 units in Oct 2024. In the overall list (ICE + EV) of top 10 scooters, it was placed on the seventh spot, just behind the Chetak EV. TVS iQube has been topping the sales charts for the last three months on the trot.
