EICMA 2025: New Vespa Primavera, Aprilia SR GT 400 and More

The Piaggio Group has showcased an array of Aprilia and Vespa models at the EICMA 2025, which include both motorcycles and scooters

Piaggio Group has showcased multiple new motorcycles and scooters at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. The models unveiled at the Milan Motorcycle Show include Aprilia SR GT 400, Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica, Piaggio Beverly 25th Anniversary, and new Vespa Primavera among others. In addition, the factory versions of the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 were also presented at the event in Milan. The brand also stated that it owns 10 percent market share in the two-wheeler segment and 18 percent in the scooter segment in Europe as of June 2025.

Aprilia SR GT 400

The maxi-scooter from Aprilia sits on an all-new chassis while equipped with long-travel suspension. Interestingly, it has a motorcycle-type fork attached to the frame by a double yoke. Furthermore, the SR GT 400 rides on tyres with deeper tread pattern. The Piaggio Group claims that the maxi-scooter has the best-in-segment power-to-weight ratio.

Some of the notable features onboard the SR GT 400 are 5-inch TFT display, keyless system, traction control and switchable ABS. The windscreen can be adjusted to five heights while the underseat storage area can house a full-face helmet and other small belongings. It is powered by a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which develops top power of 35.5 bhp.

Being a special edition of the RS 457, it comes with refreshed graphics which are inspired by the RS-GP competing in MotoGP. The RS 457 GP Replica boasts of a quickshifter which enables seamless upshifts and downshifts without using the clutch lever. The high-performance model flaunts a new black finish for the aluminium frame, swingarm, and upper steering yoke while the company has offered higher-friction front brake pads for smaller stopping distance.

Tipping the weighing scale at 159 kg, it comes loaded with a forward-facing twin-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates a thumping power output of 47 bhp. The standard equipment list includes Ride-by-Wire throttle, Riding Modes, switchable ABS and traction control.

Piaggio Beverly 25th Anniversary

The brand has also unveiled the Beverly 25th Anniversary Edition at the EICMA 2025. Being a special edition of one of the most popular and best-selling scooters, it has been rolled out to commemorate the 25 glorious years of Piaggio Beverly. It is presented with latest 310 hpe and 400 hpe engines while flaunting a new dark grey shade with a matte metallic finish.

The light grey graphic runs the full length of the vehicle, from the rear side panels to the front mudguard. A few standout elements include smoked flyscreen, gloss black and gold accent, dual-material seat with perforated pattern and double stitching. We can also see the “25th Anniversary” badge with the Italian tricolour on the inner leg shield.

New Vespa Primavera

The new model of the Vespa Primavera has been introduced with new 12-inch wheels with five split spokes. It also gets a redesigned front mudguard crest. There is also a retractable bag hook beneath the handlebar in order to accommodate a handbag or small item of luggage.

The seat has been created with new materials while rear disc brake is offered as standard safety feature. The bells and whistles include full-LCD instrumentation, single-channel ABS, and Keyless ignition. The new Vespa Primavera is sold with three engine options namely 50, 125, and 150 while two all-electric versions are also retailed.
