Suzuki To Unveil 4 Two-Wheelers At Japan Mobility Show 2025

Suzuki will showcase four technological advanced models including all-electric, hydrogen powered and flex fuel compatible at the Japan Mobility Show 2025

Suzuki will unveil a plethora of new two-wheeler models at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 in Tokyo. These include the Suzuki e-VanVan electric motorcycle concept, Suzuki e-Address (Suzuki e-Access), Suzuki Burgman Hydrogen, and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel. While the e-Access has already been showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January in New Delhi, the Burgman Hydrogen engine was previously displayed at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. Let’s take a closer look at all the four models.

1. Suzuki e-VanVan Concept

Suzuki claims that riding the e-VanVan will feel like a proper ICE-powered motorcycle rather than an EV. The Japanese brand used to retail a leisure bike with the same nameplate in the 1970s and the new concept brings back the unique digital theme colors and graphics of the same, albeit in a modern avatar. It is still unclear whether the concept version will make it to a production-ready prototype or not.

Suzuki e-VanVan Concept

Suzuki e-VanVan concept measures 1,810 mm in length, 825 mm in width and 1,050 mm in height while it is said to deliver performance equivalent to a 125cc ICE motorcycle. The company has not released any other technical specs of the all-electric motorcycle concept and we need to wait for the official information to come out.

2. Suzuki e-Address

Being touted as Suzuki’s first global strategic BEV scooter, Suzuki e-Access is being rebranded as e-Address for the Japanese market. It has already been showcased in India and even the series production has commenced at the brand’s factory in Gurgaon, Haryana. Suzuki has stated that the e-scooter will perform like a 125cc ICE-powered scooter.

Suzuki e-Address

Suzuki e-Address measures 1,860 mm, 715 mm and 1,140 mm in length, width and height, respectively. It will deliver power output of 1.3 bhp while the range in WMTC (World Motorcycle Test Cycle) stands at 80 km on a full charge. Visually, the electric scooter looks identical to the made-in-India e-Access except for the different badging.

3. Suzuki Burgman Hydrogen Engine

Suzuki had already showcased the Burgman with hydrogen engine at the Japan Mobility Show 2023. However, it claims that cut-away models of the new version have been put at the Suzuki booth so that visitors can see the evolution in the model. The company is further conducting research and development on hydrogen engines and it will not be launching anytime soon.

4. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel

Suzuki has presented the flex-fuel version of the Gixxer SF 250 at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. According to the official press note shared by Suzuki, the Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel can run on 85% bioethanol mixed fuel due to the modification in the injector, fuel pump and engine control settings. This model has already gone on sale in India in January 2025.

Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel

Measuring 2,010 mm in length, 740 mm in width and 1,035 mm in height, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel is powered by the same 249cc single-cylinder engine as the standard version. Suzuki believes that by using plant-based bioethanol fuel, CO2 emissions can be reduced as compared to the use of traditional fossil fuels.
