TVS Motor Company will introduce its biggest and most expensive motorcycle at the event in Milan, Italy
TVS Motor Company has teased an all-new motorcycle on its official Instagram handle, which will debut on Nov 4 at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. It is assumed to be a 450cc ADV bike from TVS as the company had earlier made it official that new 450cc bikes, based on BMW’s 450cc engine platform, are under development. The first bike to emerge from this new platform is the BMW F 450 GS which has also been spotted as a test mule several times. However, the TVS 450cc adventure bike, we believe, hasn’t begun testing yet and is in concept stages as it breaks cover at the EICMA 2025.
TVS could be developing a 450cc adventure tourer bike to rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure. It could be the brand’s new flagship model with prices starting around Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom). We can expect typical adventure bike elements such as front windscreen, USD forks, knuckle guards, upswept exhaust pipe and sculpted fuel tank among others.
The upcoming TVS 450cc adventure motorcycle is likely to come with several upmarket features. Some of these could include dual-channel switchable ABS, traction control system, digital instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and bluetooth connectivity. The bike is expected to ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cross spoke wheels. The higher variants might be available with alloy wheels.
The 450cc engine platform features a steel bridge trellis frame which is flanked by a bolt-on rear subframe. It houses a 450cc twin-cylinder engine which is good enough for 47 bhp while paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The same setup from BMW F 450 GS could be offered with the upcoming TVS 450 Adventure without making any sort of changes.
BMW F 450 GS is all set to have its world premiere in production-ready form at the EICMA 2025. We believe that the TVS version will take at least 9-12 months to go on sale in the Indian market. TVS has also confirmed that Norton will also have a 450cc bike based on this platform. Hence, we can expect the TVS and Norton 450cc ADV bikes in concept form at the event in Italy next month while they go on sale in the second half of 2026 in India.
TVS has introduced several new models in the past few months. Be it the Orbiter EV, be it the Ntorq 150 or be it the recently launched 2025 Raider 125, it has introduced these new two-wheelers in a span of 2 months. The Hosur-based brand is foraying in the middleweight adventure motorcycle segment with the launch of the RTX 300 on Oct 15, 2025.
