TVS RTX 300 will be the brand’s first adventure motorcycle as it debuts the all-new 299cc liquid-cooled petrol engine
TVS Motor Company is likely to launch the RTX 300 ADV bike on Oct 15, 2025 in the Indian market. The company has sent out ‘Block Your Date’ media invites for Oct 15, and we believe that the Apache RTX 300 will most probably be launched on this day. For the unversed, TVS RTX 300 will be the brand’s first adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. It has already been showcased briefly at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo earlier this year in January in New Delhi. The ADV bike will directly rival KTM 250 Duke, Yezdi Adventure and Suzuki V-Strom SX in the domestic market.
The RTX 300 has been spied testing multiple times with heavy camouflage near TVS factory in Hosur. Even TVS MD – Sudarshan Venu – was snapped on camera a few months back riding the test mule, indicating that the testing phase is in advanced stages and could culminate soon. The RTX 300 doesn’t appear to be a typical off-roader but an adventure tourer motorcycle built for long distance travel.
Equipped with a bolt-on-rear subframe, TVS RTX 300 rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The suspension duties are carried out by USD front forks and rear monoshock absorber as standard. Sitting on a trellis frame, it flaunts striking design elements such as huge windscreen, split-seat setup and upswept exhaust pipe among others.
Needless to state, it would be presented with several premium and upmarket features in the form of all-LED lighting (headlamp, turn indicators and tail-lamp), Switchable dual-channel ABS, Traction control system, Multi ride modes, Quickshifter and Ride-by-wire throttle. It will also be packed with a digital instrument cluster with horizontal position for several modern connectivity features.
TVS RTX 300 will be the first company motorcycle to be powered by the all-new 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled RT-XD4 petrol engine. This engine was unveiled at the MotoSoul 2024 in Goa. It is capable of developing top power of 35 bhp at 9000 rpm and peak torque of 28.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. It will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch.

TVS RTX 300 price could start at as low as Rs 2 lakh for the entry-level variant due to the recent GST reduction on bikes with engine capacity below 350cc. However, we need to wait for the official announcement which is due in the next few days. The bookings for the new ADV bike are expected to start shortly in the Indian market.
