TVS Apache range has become more economical and accessible for the buyers due to the introduction of GST 2.0 in the country.
The Apache has been the most reliable and reputable nameplate for TVS in the Indian market. Recently, it completed 20 years in the domestic market and hence, the brand rolled out multiple special editions to commemorate this feat. Now, due to GST 2.0, TVS Apache price has witnessed a downward revision by up to Rs 13,400, depending on the model. For the unversed, TVS retails four models under the Apache range in the form of the RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180 and RTR 200 4V. Let’s take a look at the model-wise price reduction.
TVS Apache RTR 160 and RTR 160 4V Price GST 2.0
Starting with the RTR 160, the entry-level model in the Apache range, TVS has cut the prices by up to Rs 11,340. Earlier priced between Rs 1.11-1.38 lakh, it will now be available in a range of Rs 1.02-1.27 lakh. As for the RTR 160 4V, it witnesses a reduction in price by up to Rs 12,400. The bike comes in a price bracket of Rs 1.12-1.39 lakh as compared to earlier Rs 1.22-1.51 lakh.

TVS Apache 160 is available in a total of 6 variants namely RM Drum (Black Edition), RM Drum, RM Disc, RM Disc BT, Racing Edition and Dual Channel ABS. On the other hand, the RTR 160 4V is offered in 8 variants namely Drum, RM Disc (Black Edition), Disc, BT Disc, Special Edition, Dual Channel ABS, Dual Channel ABS with USD, and TFT. Both the motorcycles get three ride modes as standard in the form of Urban, Sport and Rain.

Moving to the RTR 180, it sees a revision in price by up to Rs 11,500 as the new prices fall between Rs 1.25-1.28 lakh against the pre GST 2.0 prices of Rs 1.36-1.40 lakh. Though presently, the company official website shows only one variant on sale in the form of the RM Disc BT. Powered by a 177.4cc oil-cooled engine, it has max power output of 17 bhp at 9000 rpm and peak torque performance of 15.5 Nm at 7000 rpm.
TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Price GST 2.0
Last but not the least, the RT 200 4V gets a massive cut in price by up to Rs 13,400 with the latest prices falling in a bracket of Rs 1.41-1.50 lakh as compared to previous range of Rs 1.54-1.63 lakh. This reduction in price makes it more affordable and brings it closer to the Bajaj Pulsar 200 and Honda NX 200. It is offered in three trims namely USD, TFT and 2Ch R-Mode.
At the heart, the bike has a 197.7cc oil-cooled engine which develops top power of 20.8 bhp at 9000 rpm and peak torque of 17.2 Nm at 7250 rpm. It is claimed to clock a top speed of 127 kmph. Identical to the entire Apache range, the RTR 200 4V also boasts of three ride modes in the form of Sport, Urban and Rain.
